welcome to unsora ("we," "us," or "our"). this privacy policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use https://tryunsora.com, our application, and related services (collectively, the "service").
1. information we collect
1.1 information you provide
we collect information you provide directly, including when you:
- create an account: name, email address, password (stored in hashed form).
- purchase a subscription: billing details and transaction metadata (payment card data is handled by our payment processor and is not stored by us).
- upload or create content for processing or scheduling: videos, images, captions, titles, thumbnails, and related content you submit to the service.
- contact support: your message, contact details, and any files you share with us.
1.2 information collected automatically
when you use the service, we may automatically collect:
- device and browser information
- ip address and approximate location (region/city)
- log and usage data (pages visited, actions taken, timestamps, referral urls)
- cookie identifiers and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and fraud prevention
1.3 information from third parties (identity & integrations)
if you sign in using google or another identity provider, we may receive basic profile information (e.g., name, email, avatar) depending on your settings and authorization.
if you connect social/media platforms (e.g., youtube/google, tiktok, meta), we may receive information from those platforms that you authorize via oauth or similar mechanisms, such as:
- account/channel/page identifiers (e.g., channel id, page id)
- basic profile data (e.g., display name, avatar)
- access tokens and refresh tokens (stored securely)
- posting permissions/scopes you grant
- content and metadata needed to schedule/publish posts you request
- limited performance/analytics data if you enable it (e.g., basic metrics)
important: we do not ask for or store your platform passwords. connections are handled through the platform's authorization flow (oauth) where available.
2. how we use information
we use information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve the service
- authenticate you and secure your account
- process your uploaded content (e.g., editing/enhancement features you request)
- enable publishing and scheduling to connected platforms at your direction
- display content status, posting history, and (if enabled) basic analytics
- process payments, subscriptions, refunds, and prevent payment fraud
- communicate with you about your account, transactions, product updates, and support
- monitor, prevent, and address security issues, abuse, and policy violations
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
we do not sell your personal data.
3. authorized content and acceptable use (platform + compliance)
unsora is designed to help users work with content they are authorized to use.
- you should only upload, process, or schedule content that you own or have permission/license to use and modify.
- we may use automated systems and limited internal review (where necessary) to detect abuse, fraud, or violations of our policies or law.
- if we reasonably believe the service is being used for infringement, fraud, or illegal activity, we may suspend processing, disable platform connections, or restrict accounts, and we may preserve information as required for compliance, dispute handling, or legal process.
4. platform integrations (youtube/google, tiktok, meta)
4.1 what we do with platform data
when you connect a platform, we use the data you authorize only to provide features you request—such as:
- connecting your account
- scheduling and publishing posts/content
- showing publishing status/errors
- showing limited analytics you choose to view
4.2 google/youtube api data (limited use)
unsora's use and transfer of information received from google apis will adhere to the google api services user data policy, including the limited use requirements.
in practice, this means we do not use google/youtube data to build advertising profiles, sell it, or use it for unrelated purposes.
4.3 tiktok and meta platform data
we access and use tiktok/meta data only as authorized by you and only to provide service functionality (e.g., account connection, scheduling, publishing, and related reporting). we do not sell platform data or use it for purposes unrelated to providing the service.
4.4 disconnecting and revoking access
you can disconnect a platform at any time within the service (where available). you can also revoke access from within the platform's security settings (e.g., "connected apps"). after revocation, our access will stop, though we may retain limited records as described in data retention below.
5. data sharing and disclosure
we share information only as needed to run the service, comply with law, and protect users and unsora.
5.1 service providers (processors)
we may share information with vendors that process data on our behalf, such as:
- payment processing (e.g., stripe)
- cloud hosting, storage, and content delivery
- customer support and email delivery
- analytics and error monitoring
- security and fraud prevention tools
these providers are authorized to use information only to provide services to us (and must protect it).
5.2 platform publishing at your direction
if you connect youtube/google, tiktok, or meta, we will transmit the content and metadata you provide to those platforms to publish/schedule posts as you request.
5.3 legal and safety
we may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:
- comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests
- protect rights, safety, and security of unsora, our users, or others
- prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- enforce our agreements and policies
5.4 business transfers
if we're involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction (subject to standard confidentiality protections).
6. data retention
we keep information only as long as necessary to provide the service and for legitimate business and legal purposes.
- uploaded media for processing: deleted automatically within 24 hours after processing (unless you store it in your workspace or schedule it for later publishing).
- scheduled/publishing content: retained until it is published (or you delete/cancel it), plus a limited period for logs, troubleshooting, and dispute handling.
- platform tokens (oauth): retained while the integration is active; deleted or invalidated after you disconnect/revoke, subject to limited retention for security, auditing, and compliance.
- account data: retained while your account is active and as needed for legal obligations (e.g., tax/accounting), dispute resolution, and enforcement.
- logs and security records: retained for a limited period to maintain security, prevent fraud, and ensure reliability.
you may request deletion of your account by contacting support@tryunsora.com. note that we may retain certain records when required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., transaction records, fraud prevention).

you can control cookies via your browser settings. disabling cookies may affect functionality.
8. security
we use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including:
- encryption in transit (tls)
- access controls and least-privilege practices
- monitoring for suspicious activity
no system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
9. your choices and rights
depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- access, correct, or delete personal information
- object to or restrict certain processing
- data portability (where applicable)
- withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)
to exercise rights, contact support@tryunsora.com. we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
