The Unsora node for n8n lets your workflows clip long videos, generate AI video, images, music, and voiceovers, and schedule posts to your connected social accounts. It uses the same Unsora API as the web app, authenticated with your API key. The node also works as a tool for n8n’s AI Agent.

What you need

Install the node

  1. Open a workflow and select + to add a node.
  2. Search for Unsora and select Install.
On self-hosted n8n, you can also install it by package name:
  1. Open Settings > Community Nodes and select Install.
  2. Enter n8n-nodes-unsora, accept the risk notice, and select Install.

Add your API key

  1. Add an Unsora node and open Credential to connect with.
  2. Select Create new credential.
  3. Paste your API key into API Key and select Save. Leave Base URL as it is.
n8n tests the key when you save. Your connected social accounts, voices, and models then load into the node’s dropdowns.
Connect social accounts in the Unsora web app. The node reads them, but it can’t add new ones.

Operations

Upload > Upload File sends a binary file from an earlier node, such as Google Drive or Read Binary File, to your Unsora library. Each clip in a clipping result has a clipUrl field that you can map straight into Post > Create. Every create operation accepts an optional Idempotency Key. If a workflow retries with the same key, Unsora returns the original job instead of charging again.

Wait for completion

Create operations for clipping, video, image, music, voiceover, thumbnail, and AI influencer have Wait for Completion on by default. The node checks the job until it finishes and outputs the result, so the next node can use the clips or the file URL straight away. You can change both values on the node. If a job fails or times out, the node stops with the job ID. Turn Wait for Completion off to return the job ID immediately, then use Get Status or the trigger later.

Create a post

Post > Create takes up to 10 accounts, a caption, and video, image, or text media. Under When to Publish, choose Schedule, Publish Now, or Draft. Schedule times without a UTC offset use the workflow’s time zone. Under Platform Options, you can set:
  • TikTok: privacy level, comments, duets, stitches, branded content, promotion of your own business, the AI-generated label, auto-added music, photo post mode, and cover.
  • YouTube: privacy, tags, category ID, and made for kids.
  • Instagram: the Reel cover.
  • Pinterest: board, pin title, and destination link.
  • Google Business Profile: the button and its link.
The YouTube title goes under Per-Account Overrides > Title, where you can also give one account its own caption. For anything else in the Create Post API, use Additional Body (JSON).

Unsora Trigger

The Unsora Trigger node starts a workflow when something finishes in Unsora. The Unsora API doesn’t send webhooks, so the trigger polls on the interval you set. When you activate the workflow, the trigger skips events that already happened and fires only for new ones. A manual test run returns the newest event so you can map its fields.

Custom requests

For an endpoint the node doesn’t cover, add an HTTP Request node, set Authentication to Predefined Credential Type, and pick Unsora API. n8n adds your key to the request. See the API reference for every endpoint.

Example workflow

Clip a YouTube video and schedule it to TikTok:
  1. Manual Trigger or Schedule Trigger.
  2. Unsora > Clipping > Create: paste a YouTube URL, set Aspect Ratio to 9:16, and turn on Enable Captions. Leave Wait for Completion on.
  3. Split Out on clips.
  4. Unsora > Post > Create: pick your TikTok account, set Video URL to {{ $json.clipUrl }}, and choose Schedule.

Troubleshooting

The credential test fails. Check that you pasted the whole key, starting with uns_, and that it hasn’t been revoked at app.tryunsora.com/api-keys. The node fails with error 402. You’re out of credits. Run User > Get Credits or top up in the web app. A post fails with PLAN_REQUIRED (HTTP 403). Scheduling and publishing need a paid plan. The node fails with error 429. Each API key allows 60 requests per minute. The node retries automatically. If it keeps happening, run fewer workflows at once. Wait for Completion times out. The job is still running in Unsora. Use the job ID from the error with Get Status, or use the Unsora Trigger. An account is missing from the dropdown. Connect it in the Unsora web app, then reopen the dropdown.
