# Make

> Use Unsora in Make scenarios to clip long videos, generate AI media, and schedule social posts with your API key.

The Unsora app for [Make](https://www.make.com) lets your scenarios clip long
videos, generate AI video, images, music, and voiceovers, and schedule posts
to your connected social accounts. It uses the same [Unsora API](https://tryunsora.com/docs/api-guide.md)
as the web app, authenticated with your API key.

## What you need

* An Unsora account. Sign up at [tryunsora.com](https://tryunsora.com).
* An Unsora API key. Create one at
  [app.tryunsora.com/api-keys](https://app.tryunsora.com/api-keys). Keys start
  with `uns_`.
* Credits for clipping and generation. Posting needs a paid plan and at least
  one social account connected in the [Unsora web app](https://app.tryunsora.com).

## Connect Unsora

1. In a Make scenario, add a module and search for **Unsora**.
2. Pick a module, then select **Create a connection**.
3. Paste your API key into **API Key** and select **Save**. Leave the advanced
   **Base URL** as it is.

Make checks the key when it saves the connection and names it after your
credit balance, such as **Unsora (1200 credits)**. Your connected social
accounts, voices, and models then load into the module dropdowns.

> Connect social accounts in the Unsora web app. The Make app reads them, but
> it can't add new ones.

## Triggers

The Unsora API doesn't send webhooks, so every trigger polls on your
scenario's schedule. When you add a trigger, choose where it starts: from now,
or from a past date.

**Create Image** and **Create Post** accept an optional **Idempotency Key**. If a scenario retries with the same key, Unsora returns the original
job instead of charging again or posting twice.

### Wait for a job to finish

Clipping and generation run in the background, and a Make module can't wait
minutes for a result. Create modules return the job ID and status `QUEUED`
right away. To use the result, pick one of these patterns:

* **Watch trigger (recommended).** Scenario 1 creates the job. Scenario 2
  starts with **Watch Completed Clippings** or **Watch Completed
  Generations** and uses the result.
* **Poll in the same scenario.** After the create module, add *Repeater* →
  *Tools: Sleep* (30–60 seconds) → **Get … Status**, followed by a filter that
  continues when `status` is `COMPLETED`. Keep polling under 60 requests per
  minute per API key.

## Example scenarios

* **YouTube to TikTok on autopilot.** *YouTube: Watch Videos* → **Create
  Clipping** (9:16, captions on). In a second scenario: **Watch Completed
  Clippings** → *Iterator* over the clips → **Create Post** with each clip URL.
* **Podcast drop to Shorts.** *Google Drive: Watch Files* → *Download a File*
  → **Upload File** → **Create Clipping** with the upload's URL.
* **Failure alerts.** **Watch Failed Posts** → *Slack: Create a Message*
  with the caption and each account's error.
* **Weekly analytics.** *Schedule* → **Get Post Analytics** → *Google Sheets:
  Add a Row*.

## Troubleshooting

**The connection fails.** Check that you pasted the whole key, starting with
`uns_`, and that it hasn't been revoked at
[app.tryunsora.com/api-keys](https://app.tryunsora.com/api-keys).

**A module fails because you're out of credits.** Run **Get Credits** or top
up in the [web app](https://app.tryunsora.com).

**A post fails with `PLAN_REQUIRED` (HTTP 403).** Scheduling and publishing
need a paid plan.

**A module fails with a rate limit error.** Each API key allows 60 requests
per minute. Lengthen the *Sleep* in polling loops, or run fewer scenarios at
once.

**An account is missing from the dropdown.** Connect it in the Unsora web
app, then refresh the dropdown.
