# Analytics

> How Unsora tracks views, likes, comments, shares and saves on your published posts, how often it refreshes them, and how to read them over the API.

Unsora reads engagement on every post it published for you and shows it under **Analytics** in the dashboard. Your agent can read the same numbers over MCP (`get_post_analytics`) or the API.

## What's tracked

Each published post gets **views**, **likes**, **comments**, **shares** and **saves**, where the platform provides them:

| Instagram | Likes and comments; views, shares and saves through Instagram insights |
| YouTube | Views, likes, comments |
| Facebook | Reactions (counted as likes), comments, shares, impressions and video views |
| Threads | Views, likes, replies, reposts and quotes |
| Bluesky | Likes, replies, reposts and quotes (Bluesky has no view counts) |
| Pinterest | Impressions, saves, clicks |
| X | Impressions, likes, replies, reposts and quotes, bookmarks |
| LinkedIn | Reactions (counted as likes); impressions aren't available |
| Google Business Profile | Not tracked — Google no longer reports per-post stats |

## How often numbers refresh

Platforms don't push engagement to Unsora, so Unsora re-reads it on a schedule that slows down as a post ages:

| Post age | Re-read about every |
| - | - |
| First 48 hours | 6 hours |
| Up to 7 days | 24 hours |
| Up to 30 days | 3 days |
| Up to 90 days | Weekly |

After 90 days the numbers stop updating.

**X** is read less often: every 12 hours for the first 48 hours, every 2 days up to 7 days, then weekly up to 30 days, after which it stops.

Clicking **Update stats** in the dashboard, or calling the refresh endpoint, re-reads posts straight away, except ones read in the last 15 minutes (3 hours for X).

* `GET /posts/analytics/summary?days=30` — totals and per-post numbers for the last 7–90 days (default 30)
